What IPS budget monitor for FPS games?

Hello, i am now with a 240hz monitor but something feels unstable and it has some weird ghosting when playing games like Fortnite and moving camera. I have tried ELMB and i didnt like, didnt notice much difference plus it wont allow me to play with HDR, and brightness gets low.
This is my current monitor: Asus VG279QM1A 27.

What id like is a monitor for around 150€ that has at least:
- 240hz unless theres some monitors that can feel better at lower hz for some tech or idk.
- at least HDR 10 which i think is what my current monitor has and i like the colors.
- 1440p 25-27 inch (preferable 27).
- good pixel response, gtg, basically a monitor that without relying on techs like ELMB or so, can have a good motion clarity to not see weird ghosting but a clean image during mouse movement. Or if there is any monitor that can have good input delay and good colors looking similar to HDR while using motion blur reduction tech thats good too.
- IPS or Fast IPS, i like its colors.

Weird ghosting? I am guessing you mean overshoot or too much stroboscopic blur.

I'm not sure you'll be getting much improvement around €150. You'll have to spend more money. Maybe something like a https://www.amazon.es/-/en/AOC-Q27G4ZR- ... B0F8NRZX1H will be of interest. But I cannot speak to it's motion clarity or whether it will be the solution for you.

For your current monitor: I would recommend you disable overclocking, try lowering the Variable OD level to a lower number too, if it's too high, it will introduce overshoot and maybe more ghosting.

It also might be worth lowering your refresh rate to see if that also maybe helps, obviously it's not ideal, but it might be a possible solution.

I wouldn't bother using HDR at all unless you're on an OLED monitor.

If changing the settings on your monitor or upgrading to another monitor doesn't resolve your issue, then it may be worth saving up for a high refresh rate OLED monitor in the near future, preferably a 5th-gen RGB-stripe panel so that text looks decent.

Hi ty for answer, i searched those effects and i am not entirely sure is any of these, maybe the stroboscopic blur if its less noticeable than in a slow motion gif that i saw that the img was multiplying, what i see is like kind of noisy image, like its not perfect and more mixed with the background, like shapes are less sharp even when moving camera slow, but it doesnt always happen, you would assume more fps should look better, but i have had this 4 scenarios in same fortnite map (small map Red VS Blue map), when many ppl or effects fps are lower than when not many ppl playing, so there are situations where my fps are around 200 and situations where my fps are around 140, so the one that looks best is when:
1- "fps are 200 and game looks stable",
the next is
2- "fps are 140 and game looks stable",
then
3- "fps are 200 and game looks unstable", (so yeah, sometimes 200 fps can look worse than 144 which is what confuses me)
then
4- "fps are 140 and game looks unstable".

So by this i mean that sometimes fps (and lows) can be lower and look better than if the game/monitor/whatever it could be has a "bad start" and "good start".

So, to see if the unstability problem comes from my monitor (either faulty or this monitor being "worse" in some aspect independently of the specs that it shows), or if it is other part of my pc or so, so i wanted to just test a monitor that is known for performing good and is not very expensive so that if its the case i can sell this monitor and not have spent much, so this way i could find out if the monitor is the problem or is not, cos i been told that monitors are a lottery.

I have tweaked my monitor with the ufo website, i use ovrdrive 3/5 which doesnt show either blur almost or the neon opposite effect (i have tried the game both with and without overdrive and found out that overdrive is not the problem, without it it can look bad too).

About the overclocking it is disabled, i am playing at 240hz (i also tried fps capped, uncapped, gsync + VRR, without it, Hz capped, i have tried many many things without a real solution so far).

About HDR i use it cos i havent noticed HDR making it look worse, it can look bad without it too (the whatever i experience), and in therms of how good color it looks for my like, for every aspect i like it more with HDR.

About OLED monitor, yes that was my plan for future, i need to save money for it so for now i just wanted to find out whats the problem that i am having and if its normal or can a monitor at least perform as good as this one when it performs its best for a similar price.

About the monitor that you linked, i can pay that much, 180€ is fine too, i just need it preferably being a monitor that is known for performing good and not a monitor that hasnt really been tested, so this way i dont need to buy many monitors until one feels good.
