I have Iphone 15 plus and never noticed any difference like you mentioned and I'm more inclined to believe Chief when it comes to this topic. Phones are also not a good way to measure this problem. They are extremely inconsistent by nature (random overheating and spyware and bloatware running in background 24/7) touchscreen, etc.

For phones, the only difference I noticed on a bad socket vs. good socket is the charging time and heat, not phone performance...on bad wiring, it took well over 1 hour to charge from 15% to 90%, and it even refused to activate "fast charge" sometimes, and the charger was also very hot to touch, but on normal wiring all this is gone, it charges in below 40 minutes and the charger is only slightly warm.

Nah, if you have this issue and pay attention close enough you can see your phone change just like your monitor does. Sometimes text is more spaced out, the aspect ratio looks off, more blurry and other times more sharp etc. Perhaps it depends on the phone though
