If you experience Desync then I guess you have problem with Hitreg too ?

To your Question:

In Usa and World wide Desync and bad Hitreg exist and it is not Country related and is some cases not even Game and Server related. Someone has bad experience in all games and some have it in one or two or on some specific servers always...

Right now you can see and follow on Reddit how some Players complain about the new Modern Warfare 4 and Desync/Hitreg.
But same experience can happen in all other Games too...Pubg, Rainbowsix, CSGO, CS2, Valorant and so on.

Fix can be individual but you can try to do the most logical steps:

First do the Idiot Test:
Play without Internet and completely offline and against bots or host your own server and invite some friends and check if still same bad desync or bad hitreg and compare.

1. Speak with ISP, Change ISP, Change Router if it is from ISP
2. Try another PC or even Laptop and better with fresh Windows Install or try Consoles PS5, Xbox and see if same experience happens
3. Go other Location and try out or like go to Friend and compare with your experience and if it same

4. Try out VPNs and if that makes any change for you...

(my personal experience was bad with that and even paid VPN don't help me but maybe your case lucky)

If VPNs don't make any change for you then you don't need do this but still can try:

5. Setup Virtual Private Server and VPN on it and try this way.

Things you should don't do and waste of time on it:
1. Stop with Tweaks.
regedit, bios, router and so on...

Everything just should be updated to lastest firmware and newest drivers and that all you need to know and do.

2. Your Issue not related to EMI or Electricity

Absolutely bro. Its just EXTREMELY EXTREMELY rare to find someone in the US with input lag just as it would be rare anywhere else in the world. I've had input lag for 8 years but the input lag has only ever affected my mouse and PARTIALLY my keyboard. The rest of the PC and everything about it is pretty much perfect and flawless without any issues.

Trying to understand the logic here. The issue has only affected the mouse and partially the kb. Okay, how did you come to that conclusion? You don't mean a delay in your aim instead which could be anything but the mouse itself?

P.S gotta love the chatbot answer above by "thetruth".

Yeah I started this post because I can't help but notice a lot of these people with desync issues are not from the states. I have atheory that the ISP in the states are pretty competent in general. Also it helps that the servers are also located in their country

Europe has Servers too as you can see and competent ISP.

I live in the US and experience pretty severe desync across many different games. I do deal with some amount of input lag and floaty mouse as well, however the desync is far more problematic as it drastically shortens the amount of time I have to react in a gunfight and often results in me dying the second an enemy player appears on my screen and/or taking significant damage before I'm able to fire my first shot. The crazy thing is I have had multiple stretches where this problem is not present and I feel almost unkillable. All of sudden I have ample time to react, line up my crosshairs, and start firing before I start taking any damage. During these times even more stressful FPS games feel easy and enjoyable to play.

I've tried all the usual tweaks/changes to fix the issue including hardware changes, ISP changes, BIOS changes, OS changes, software tweaks, every in-game setting you can think of and nothing permanently resolves the issue.

Regarding US players in general - I beleive many players here experience desync however they typically attribute it to the game they are playing and it's netcode as opposed to some systemic issue with their game systems and/or network. If you do a quick Reddit search for the term "Desync" you will see exactly what I mean as the game-specific forums for every major title are flooded with reports similar to the issues reported in these forums.
