That's kinda funny statement ngl. But generally you're right. A lot of issues are related to GPU/PCIe. I mean it's easy to see a difference between Gen1/Gen4 PCIe modes.

Re: Severe Input Lag & Heavy Movement Despite High FPS and Hardware Changes
I watched your video, and I'm experiencing exactly the same thing. Even when I have the advantage in a fight, I feel like something is missing or delayed. The moment an enemy appears on my screen, I immediately start taking damage before I can react.unexpected8 wrote: ↑25 Oct 2026, 23:30Your problem is exactly like this one.
What’s strange, though, is that even after testing your device at a friend’s place, the issue persisted. It almost makes me wonder if the components themselves can "catch an infection," or if the problem stems from voltage irregularities in certain motherboards—honestly, I’m not sure, as I’ve tested my own setup in more than three different homes.
Even stranger, at my brother’s house, he was playing PUBG on a PS4 connected to a 180Hz monitor, and the motion on the screen was much smoother than it is on my own setup.
My aim is also extremely bad with DMRs and sniper rifles because of this issue.

Re: Severe Input Lag & Heavy Movement Despite High FPS and Hardware Changes
I've tried literally everything imaginable, and nothing has ever made a real difference to the heavy, sluggish movement or the ridiculous ways I die in fights.
However, there is something interesting I noticed.
My FPS used to be terrible, unstable, and the gameplay looked very noisy and unclear. When I installed Windows on a different SATA SSD instead of my M.2 NVMe drive, the frames became noticeably cleaner, more stable, and much less likely to drop.
I also noticed something strange in the BIOS security settings called Intel PTT (TPM). When I disabled it while Windows was installed on the M.2 drive, my bullets seemed to register slightly better than before.
But when Windows was installed on the SATA SSD, disabling PTT made no noticeable difference.
I've also tried countless mice and keyboards, from cheap office models to expensive gaming peripherals, countless Windows tweaks, lightweight Windows builds, and old NVIDIA driver versions. None of these solved the heavy movement or delayed reactions.
Meanwhile, my friend's PC has much older hardware:
- GTX 1080
- 16GB DDR4 RAM at around 2600MHz
- Intel Core i5-9400F
- ASUS H310 motherboard
Yet the gaming experience on his PC is absolutely incredible. The movement, aiming, and overall responsiveness feel unbelievably fast and precise, even though his FPS is lower than mine.
On his PC, I felt like I was winning around 98% of my fights, regardless of the situation.
That is the part I simply cannot understand. His older, weaker PC feels dramatically better than mine, despite everything I've tried.

Damn 20 VBIOS flashes, that's some dedication, I only flashed the latest one my RTX 3070 Aorus Master had that didn't change the core clock speed, not much difference in latency if at all.Sandy wrote: ↑26 Oct 2026, 10:05Yes. If zero latency is 100 points, I’m currently at 90. My graphics card only has two VBIOS versions that perform well; I spent several days testing over 20 different VBIOS versions during the night—the time when input latency is at its worst—and only two managed to keep latency low during those peak-latency periods. More importantly, it’s not just about lower latency; the visual clarity during "hit registration" moments is also noticeably better.
A TikTok creator I know has achieved zero latency using an RTX 3060, though I’m not sure which brand it is—VBIOS versions can vary significantly between different brands.
You can download relevant VBIOS files here: www.techpowerup.com/vgabios. Just be aware that flashing a VBIOS carries the risk of causing a black screen (i.e., the card failing to display an image).
Do these 2 low latency VBIOS versions happen to be older ones? I want to know if it's a pattern, I'm willing to flash another version.

I’ve also noticed something quite interesting: I frequently watch CS2 matches, and I’ve observed that many professional players encounter input latency issues as well—though they don’t seem to realize the root cause. They’ll often call for a match pause or ask to swap out their mousepad, for instance.crack wrote: ↑26 Oct 2026, 19:25Damn 20 VBIOS flashes, that's some dedication, I only flashed the latest one my RTX 3070 Aorus Master had that didn't change the core clock speed, not much difference in latency if at all.Sandy wrote: ↑26 Oct 2026, 10:05Yes. People have swapped computers over these desync/input lag symptoms, including GPU manufacturer and vendor, still same shit.
I remember before 2019 I did not have this desync/input lag problem whatsoever, stock bios, windows with some disabled services I never used like fax and printer, 60Hz 2008 LCD felt MUCH better than my current 240Hz IPS, I looked at some phone footage my friend took of me playing a match, it's night and day difference how instantaneously I could flickshot and the motion of the 60Hz LCD was butter smooth, 83g office mouse I could use all day without straining my wrist, I could go on but ranted enough.
This same computer my friend recorded footage of me playing before 2019, now feels awful, that butter smooth 60Hz feels like 40-50, guaranteed wrist strain with an even lighter mouse over more than 3 hours of use and absolutely no way I could instantly flick again.

Re: Severe Input Lag & Heavy Movement Despite High FPS and Hardware Changes
Same thing for me, i had a laptop asus vivobook pro 17 in 2020 60hz monitor, i was really really good at Minecrafat pvp on the 16.2 version, playing everyday, destroying everyone, and suddenly, i could not even fight properly, it felt different, heavy mouse feeling (i had to change my sensibility from 36% to 58%), i could not win ez 50/50 situations. Even today with my setup, 165hz monitor 500 fps, good wifi, it's not even close what i remember. I changed 3 times my setup, my mouse, keyboard, my wifi... Nothing changed, i had the choice to chose between 60hz with incredible responsiveness vs 360hz with this lag, i swear i would go back in time to get my old computer and play like before.crack wrote: ↑26 Oct 2026, 03:02Am I wrong or did you post something like theres gpu vendors that don't even have a good VBIOS version to flash available at all? I would like to know what changed from the moment you did not have this issue the day after having this lag ? Because for me, i did absolutely nothing. This is why i thought it was something related to my peripherals or wifi, something i could not control...

I also noticed that playing CS2 in fullscreen windowed instead of fullscreen gives less desyncs. And also 400fps lock feels better than higher values or uncapped. My game is at least playable now with Gen2 + fullscreen windowed + lock 400. So I'm pretty sure this is GPU related, not sure how you can fix that with vbios tho. There's software than can override vbios before driver load without actual flushing and there's ability to tune values, but I'm not quite sure what exactly could help on that issue.

Look at this random benchmarker video I found, his Valorant runs flawlessly even if his fps is 100-200 lower than my PC. His Ping when he tabs is 40ms. I have only ever seen this game being this responsive when watching big streamers or pros in lan. The way his bullets register, the recoil resetting very quick, crisp death animations upon kill shots, most obvious is the enemies' super smooth movement response where you can clearly see they stop and react. The guy's movement and aim seems to be about gold-plat I guess and this looks to be in Singapore SEA server judging from the voice comms.
