Can't get 144hz 1440x1080?

Post by harrwang38 » 24 Feb 2015, 04:42

Hello. Everytime I try to get 144hz in 1440x1080 I get the out of range error after I restart. Is there any work around for this?? or is 120hz the max for that resolution?

You can't make a 144 hz 1440x1080. You either have to use it as a GPU scaled resolution (make a 100 or 120hz one then just switch to 144 hz in the drivers after creating the 120hz one) or u have to create "CVT reduced" /LCD reduced. You can't create any 144 hz "normal" timing resolution, not even 1920x1080.
