BenQ XL2411Z Xbox One Settings
Hi I was wondering what the best strobe settings were for gaming on the xbox what should my strobe duty, phase, and single strobe be set to? I can only alter these settings through the service page on my monitor as it is not hooked up to a computer.

We can't tell you the best settings. It depends on the game.
Single strobe has to be on if you want 60 hz strobing or if the game is locked at 60 fps.
Do not use single strobe for a 30 fps locked game. Dark Souls is locked at 30 fps, unless you unlock it. Dark souls 2 is locked at 60 fps.
Single strobe at 30 fps looks horrible. Double strobe, however, looks better than single strobe and also slightly better than blur reduction off, at 30 fps.
Since you can't use VT tweaks on a console to improve the crosstalk strobe errors at the top and bottom of the screen (e.g. VT 1500 at 100 or 120 hz (with slightly reduced timings at 120hz vs standard at 100 hz) removes almost all of the strobe crosstalk with strobe phase set to 000), you're going to have crosstalk somewhere. So you need to find out what game you're playing and which part of the screen is focused on the most.
FPS game with a hud at the bottom and heavy focus on the mid and top and sky, for headshots and enemies being above you?
Strobe phase 000 keeps the top decent with the bottom messy. Strobe phase 100 keeps the top perfect and the bottom worse than phase 0.
Game where the bottom is important but the top of the screen isn't, or doesn't have much motion, or a lot of static images (e.g. hud at the top?) Strobe phase 010-020 may work.
You want the duty as low as possible, to get the most blur reduction while still keeping the brightness level tolerable. Without a VT tweak, usually something like Duty 010 is decent. On the XL2430T, this is reversed; high duty=lowest brightness/most blur reduction effect while lowest duty=highest brightness/least amount of blur reduction (It's called "Intensity" in the OSD now, so the values were reversed, though it's still called duty in the service menu)
Note that RAISING the strobe duty to increase brightness also has a side effect of increasing the strobe phase, but on a lesser level than changing strobe phase by itself. Raising strobe duty from 1 to 10 makes the crosstalk move downwards by about the same amount as increasing strobe phase from 0 to 3 (rough estimation).

Thanks for the help I put my strobe phase to 0 and my duty to I think 12 because otherwise it gets too dark and I am playing call of duty by the way.

I don't remember the effect of strobe duty 12 without a VT tweak. I know with a VT tweak, Duty 12 will leave way too much ghosting at the very top of the screen (compared to something like duty 7 or 8), and tops are important in COD games (especially in advanced warfare). Try strobe phase 100 and duty 12 and see if the top of the screen and compare it to strobe phase 0 and see if the tradeoff is worth it.
