Yes.

The scaler for some reason identifies the resolution as 1280x1024. Not sure why. This seems to be a bug in the EDID.

Most likely because 1280x960 and 1280x768 are not standard vesa resolutions while 1280x1024 was a standarad resolution (although it's 5:4 instead of 4:3).

You will notice that 1280x960 and 1280x768 are both identified as 1280x1024.
This DOES affect the 'aspect' setting of the OSD, in 'display mode'. If you select 'aspect' at 1280x1024, the vertical size is stretched to fill the top and bottom, with black bars on the left and right. But if you go down a resolution to 1280x960 or 1280x760, notice that the monitor doesn't reset at all? (if you keep the OSD up, it remains up). And you will notice the aspect will have back bars above and below the image (when it should be stretched fully top and bottom).

Funny enough, 1152x864 is identified as 1152x870, although that's probably a bug. Has no effect on the aspect 1:1 setting.

You can make 1280x960 identified correctly as 1280x960 instead of 1280x1024 by creating it as a custom resolution.
