New monitor

Hey peeps.
I´m planning on buying a new monitor this or the upcoming week
My PC is modest (GTX1060), i mostly play cs go, apex legends and older/classic single player titles
My max budget is 450€

Na globaldata tens o asus xg248q em promo a 380€. Eu comprava esse ou o xg258q mas é mais caro esse (460).

Wich means in english: Xg248q best option as they have a discount going on (380€).

Of course buy Viewsonic 24.5" XG2530 for 354€ and dont think twice.

The ViewSonic is very risky because it has high input lag and we don´t know if it is the first sample or the second ones. The first ones had frame skipping. For 380€ the XG248Q is the obvious winner in my opinion!

Also here in Portugal every Asus product has 3 years warranty instead of the 2. That´s another plus

You mean the ViewSonic XG2402. I never said every ViewSonic monitor is the best! Every model is different. Asus has good models too. Asus VG258QR had problems yes, at least my unit had.

The frame skipping fixed version will have same input lag. They only changed the needed values to fix this issue.
I was deciding between this one and xg2402 few months back and decided the input lag was too high and not worth the 240hz.

XG258 is probably the best monitor you can get in this price range.

I bought the XG248q, i´ll have to wait a couple of days for it to arrive.
