I get weird horizontal scanlines that appear to be going upwards on my monitor.
They are more visible on 200 hz compared to 165 hz.
Is it safe to keep it overclocked? What are the cons?

Scanlines depend on refresh rate. Try adjusting your refresh rate until they're least noticeable. In my case 180Hz looks nice.

If we're to believe Chief (no reason not to), the risk is very low and the panel shouldn't be harmed unless you're tinkering with blur reduction in addition to overclocked refresh rate.

One last question, I got to run 200 hz on fortnite on the first try but it doesn't work anymore, not on fullscreen at least (it runs on 200 hz on windowed fullscreen). It seems to be limited to 144 hz. What could be the reason behind this? Is there a fix?

Do you get out of range-black screen when trying fullscreen? If so try OOR Buster.

What was the maximum result that you reached? I mean, without frameskipping or other undesired effects like blur and other.
About to get this monitor and I see Zeom reported 200 Hz:
Which is alredy better than I originally thought it would be. Just wondering what other people reached. By applying Nvidia Clock Patcher and lowering Front porch, Sync width and total pixels I managed to lower pixel clock and reach 89 Hz on my 60 Hz monitor, like this:
So I wonder what result I could get on Benq XL2411. What other techniques(other than pixel patcher and lowering front porch, sync width and total pixels) monitor overclockers use? I only find Nvidia/AMD control panel videos on youtube that just increase their vertical refresh rate until their monitor blacks out.
Are there maybe any hardware modifications I could do to push it further? I don't mind getting some chip or PCB off of aliexpress, burn it with some programmer or something and solder it onto the monitor's board if that could help to push the limits.

Mine is an old XL2411Z with V4 firmware, and only really stable with no frameskipping and sudden whiteouts at no higher than 180Hz, using DVI. That's with settings from Chief's original post, at 1080p. I haven't played around with the settings to see if I can get it higher.
