I want to get a 240hz monitor for a competitive fps browser game like csgo.
My computer is 7 years old and I don't have a graphics card. I've been playing this browser game with my mobo integrated graphics and a 60hz monitor. I believe as its a browser game a gpu isn't used but I need a gpu so I can connect the 240hz monitor as my mobo doesn't have a 240hz output.
I think I found the best monitor for my budget and requirements -
- HP Omen X 25f
- input lag 2.6 ms
- response time 5.3 ms
- Price 350 GBP
Will it work with my computer after I get a graphics card?
Will I be able to maintain stable 240fps while playing?
Will my input lag be slower than normal because my computer is old?
Please can someone advise on a suitable / affordable graphics card? My gpu budget is about £150.
I currently have a dual screen 60hz setup and when I get the 240hz monitor I would like a triple screen setup making the 240hz my main monitor. Do I need a gpu with 3 monitor outputs or I can keep my two 60hz monitors plugged into the mobo?
