browser unlimited fps on 60hz?

Post by 5hootemup » 29 Jun 2020, 00:48

Hi I am just wondering when you make your browser fps unlimited on a 60hz monitor does it give you a taste of what its like to be on a higher hz monitor?

I disabled my chrome frame rate limit on this 60hz monitor and sometimes when playing this unity3D browser game the fps goes to 120fps (not stable) and I am just wondering if this trick really give you a feel for higher hz or not?

I don't think I can notice a difference between 60fps capped and unlimited fps..

When unlimited fps is enabled in the opera gx browser the fps can still dip low as 54fps when the game is at his heaviest action 8v8 tdm

I hope when I get this 240hz monitor & gpu my experience is totally different!!!

Nope. :P Even with higher FPS, motion smoothness and clarity stay fixed and don't change if you stay at 60Hz. They only improve with higher Hz + higher FPS, not just higher FPS.
