the monitor looks very hot,
does it depend on overclocking?
I have games where I do 280fps so it is better to put 280hz even when I am not in the game because otherwise when I do alt + tab it will be slow
Yeah I do have the same issue, sometime disabling full screen optimization does fix it.
My monitor doesn't really get hot at all.

sure you don't overheat when it's at 280hz?

It doesn't overheat unless I manually change displayport Voltage Swing to a higher value, it is perfectly normal for the bottom part of the monitor to be hotter than the rest of the panel but it's definitely not reaching overheating levels, even at 280hz.

I can also confirm on my VG259QM at 280Hz no overheat just slightly warm by the vents only when OD100

I keep trying new settings but I always go back to 240hz OD60 with 236 fps cap +Vsync , I'm much more consistent with these settings than with 280hz OD80 or every other refresh/overdrive combination.

If you want to use ELMB-Sync absolutely avoid using it with Adaptive Sync, the double strobe creates weird smearing at both 240 and 280hz.

The best setting for tearless strobing with the least amount of crosstalk is 240hz, Adaptive Sync OFF and ELMB-Sync ON with Low-Lag vsync (https://blurbusters.com/howto-low-lag-vsync-on/), custom VT set to 1241 (this is the maximum for my panel before it goes out of range).

Hello guys. Just got the monitor. Now playing with settings trying to configure for myself. First impression: feels good after my trusty XL2546 (without "S"), definitely not worse. (Also found that you can crank up VT on 240Hz to match 280Hz pixel clock values and beyond, which is great :D) Currently using: OD 80, ELMB off, Adaptive Sync off, Racing mode (not decided yet).
IMO performance tests from average Joe are subjective, I will wait for proper reviews from reputable sites [rtings, tftcentral etc] until doing any conclusions.
My bad English :0

I don't think it's possible, what do you need that usb for?

This port is only for updating the firmware. This is written in the manual.
