Ok guys.
I got the program to work, yet now I'm faced with a rather confusing issue.
Using 240fps 1080p slowmo on iphone xs
I am testing input lag in CSGO with my 240hz benq monitor, zowie mouse
and 1000hz keyboard.
I know the led refresh rate is way below that, but still im faced with this:

When clicking my mouse there is either only one frame that it takes the game to shoot after the keyboard lightning
but sometimes the game muzzle flash is the first frame and only after this my keyboard lights up.

This makes me feel like the delay from mouse to numlock led is very large and at some point higher than the
click to game delay?

thx for any help!

this is an awesome idea, but I suspect it's going to work better with some keyboards than others.

For $5 you can buy a raspberry pi zero and use some free software I wrote to do the same thing, but with much better reliability. While a high speed camera is great, my software also offers ~1ms accuracy even if your camera only runs at 120hz. I think the greater confidence in the validity of the results makes the modest hardware investment worth it.

Measure display input lag the cheap way or the best way (IMHO, but I'm biased).
