[Power/EMI] I discover why sometime PC become fast and low input lag and otherwise feel high input lag

This subforum is for advanced users only. This separate area is for niche or unexpected lag issues such as electromagnetic interference (EMI, EMF, electrical, radiofrequency, etc). Interference of all kinds (wired, wireless, external, internal, environment, bad component) can cause error-correction (ECC) latencies like a bad modem connection, except internally in a circuit. ECC = retransmits = lag. Troubleshooting may require university degree. Your lag issue is likely not EMI.

How does this PS Audio Power Plant differ from double conversion UPS doing AC->DC-> AC conversion? As far as I know it helped only to use double conversion UPS on battery, which doesn't last long.

thanks for your points.Bobo wrote: ↑25 Oct 2020, 05:59I would recommend you guys to check some audiophile forums in regards to the power problems, they have alot of solutions.
Start with the power cables, something like the supra lorad should be enough. But if you really want clean power then get a power regenerator, something like the PS Audio Power Plant.
we already tested some equipment from audio/hifi-sector. (many filters like targa harmony, furman etc.)
the supra lorad and a dc-blocker was tested myself a while ago bc i was suspicious about there might be some dc on the line, due to living next to solar-panels. didnt help.

Supra lorad usually does the job and its quite cheap. but if that doesn`t work, see if you can borrow an Audioquest power cable that has DBS tech on it and try with that.
As for the power itself, if filters and conditioners don`t work then try a good ups that has a pure sine wave output, and if that doesn`t work then you most likely need a proper power regenerator.

PS Audio Power Plant is a Power re generator. It takes the AC converts it and then produces a regenerated sine wave on the output side. There are still some power issues that can traverse this design, primarily common mode noise or inter system ground noise.

Tried with G PRO WIRELESS Mouse, same problem.

Well, there goes my only hope

Besides this, I can't find any flourescent tube around so have not been able to test the glowing under high voltage wires. I don't know if a led tube will glow but I guess I will try it anyway soon.

Tip: I tried with a NEW order Computer on a house near mine, like 5 minutes walking. Same problem with new computer in that house too...
