I'm experiencing some serious eye strain / eye pain on my new 32" G7. Oddly enough, it only seems to happen at 240hz. I've lowered the refresh to 120hz (MBR off. VRR off too, though it doesn't seem to matter) and it feels much better on my eyes. Basically no strain at all if I drop the refresh rate.
What's weird is that when I run the blur trail / PWM test from testufo at 240hz, I see a crazy number of vertical lines. At 120hz, the results from that test are totally different and seem very much normal. But my understanding is that this should be a "flicker-free display" and PWM shouldn't be an issue...so what gives?
Is there a correlation between this weird test result and my eye strain?
