it just doesn't seem logical. 8k is top spec for usb 2.0 no? thunderbolt is current top tier, so how would that be made with 8k optimization in mind if usb 2.0 couldn't do its standard well somehow? I mean this isn't like some sort of 10x ratio thing is it? there are other problems unrelated to bus width. like you can't ride offroad with a hyundai and so you try a mustang, but you still can't, so it doesn't make sense to go lambo, an audi q5 would have already helped, u don't need benz or jeep or discovery, u don't even need pajero or prado

wdym, they are always there if u don't delete them.....but unless ur using ceramic with a tough plastic pad i don't see why you need to save any for the long haul

Is it possible to roll back firmware on the viper 8k? Im not sure im to happy with the new firmware.

I dont know, just not as smooth as it's used to be.. anyhow would be great if we could feely choose the firmware you like.
I think the firmware that came with the mouse is 1.01

no it's 1.00..........the ones most people used was 1.01 rev1 ,and the usb fix ver was 1.02 rev1, both linked many times previously in this very thread
