Hello
monitor 27 2k 240hz
Re: monitor 27 2k 240hz
I have Acer xv272ux, the best 240hz panel I have ever used, so highly recommend ACER XB273UGX (g-sync version)
Re: monitor 27 2k 240hz
What exactly do you like about your monitor? What were your previous model/s?

He is saying the Acer XV272UX is directly responsible getting him into level10 on faceit, playing solo, not taking into account that maybe he is getting better by time and factor of luck getting good teammates. I forgot to ask @skip, did your avg kills and K/D raised after new monitor and what was your previous monitor? I think the Acer XV272UX is too expensive for buying only to play csgo competive, for half the price you can get 2nd generation IPS 240/280hz, that doesnt fall behind at all.

Re: monitor 27 2k 240hz
I like input lag and response time, also sharp image, my previous was Asus vg279qm(used it one year), It was good, but 2k is better for my job and also vg279qm was playable for me only with OD 60 in CS GO but my visibility was worse, slightly not enough response time.
There are other panels which I tested TN's: XL 2540, AW2518HF, xf252qx, 27GK750F, vg258qm (clarity was good, but a lot of other issues: vertical lines, input lag)
IPS's which I used: vg279qm, vg252qx, xv273x, vg272 (the best input lag, but not enough response time for me was in CS GO)
Finally I bought Acer xv272ux and sticked to this panel, it's the first panel for me which has strongs sides from TN and IPS: clarity like TN, it faster then any previous IPS I used, input lag is the same as xv273x has to my opinion(according to TFTcentral xv273x has lowest input lag 2ms and there is no signal delay)
Re: monitor 27 2k 240hz
It's possible about luck, but I could not get it with vg279qm during the year and after I bought xv272x I got it during two weeks, visibility became better and I can do now hard open frags sometime, it was harder with vg279qm as visibility was worse because of time response (that's my opinion how that come). K/D the same 1.09 ) It's expensive, I agreed, but finally it's the first 240hz panel which completely satisfied me.player1 wrote: ↑14 Jun 2021, 01:44He is saying the Acer XV272UX is directly responsible getting him into level10 on faceit, playing solo, not taking into account that maybe he is getting better by time and factor of luck getting good teammates.
