Gaming Monitor 240hz+ & No Budget

Hi all,

Looking for some advice in helping me make a decision on a new gaming monitor.

There is no budget and the ideal monitor will be the most future proof, IPS, 1080p, 240hz+, decent color.

So far my choices are

1. Acer Nitro XV2 Gaming Monitor - XV252Q FBMIIPRX

2. Dell Alienware AW2521H

3. ASUS ROG Swift PG259QN

4. ViewSonic XG2431

So far I'm leaning towards either the Acer or the ViewSonic models. They are both fairly new but they also hit most of my check boxes.

Color and clarity is important to me though and from what I've researched it would seem that the Asus monitor (better gamma, colors) may be the best choice?

I'm sticking to 1080p as I currently have a 27 inch 1440p

Anyone have any other considerations they can offer?

The only ones that are worth considering on that list is that 390Hz ACER and that 240Hz Viewsonic. Also, you might wanna consider the ASUS PG279QM or XG27AQM.(27'' 240hz 1440p IPS)

Thanks! I'm trying to move away from a 27" as thats what I have currently and feel as though there is just too much screen for me now to look at haha so trying to go smaller.

I've got the Alienware AW2521H and it's a banger but it's hard to recommend when the 390HZ Acer can do BFI up at up to 390HZ (and at a much cheaper price). Personally would pick between Choice 1 and 2.

How important is G-SYNC to you?
Would you be using BFI regularly?

These are are some of the questions I would ask myself if I were in your shoes.
