How do you know it increases at 390 Hz? From the testing I have seen, at 390 Hz it is nearly one ms faster than the ASUS 360 Hz monitor (the previous fastest). Do you have any objective measurements to support it being slower at 390 Hz?

Well I dont have numbers, simply put I feel it way laggier at 390hz compared to 360hz.
This is not something New, remember VG259QM also shows higher input lag at 280hz compared to 240hz. Must be the way it Handles the overclocked scanout

Neither in the VG279QM nor the XV252QF I notice this that you comment. Please, have you been able to measure it?
In any case, according to optimun tech review at 390Hz the input lag is good because PG259QN inpput lag is good ( Rtings, TftCentral ). *regardless of the methodology both have a good database

Wasn't that optimum tech guy, the one that preferred using Strobed 240hz with 144hz input lag levels, instead of 360hz? :S
I mean, I dont really care about that reviewer
Rtings are great tho!

Re: Acer 390Hz monitor - XV252QF
I'm not sure, but he objectively measured that the input lag at 390 Hz was the lowest he has ever tested. I am not saying you're wrong about 390 Hz possibly having more input lag. I just hope it is not the case and that 390 Hz is the best. Hopefully we can get some objective measurements. I remember that on my PG279Q people were advised to keep it at 144 Hz (but this might have had more to do with overdrive and pixel response times). Do you have any idea where you heard that the VG279QM had less input lag at 240 Hz than 280 Hz?

Now I'm interested where will it land on RTINGS list with both response times and input lag. Vote for Acer Nitro XV252Q Fbmiiprx if u're interested too - https://www.rtings.com/monitor/suggestions
I'd vote for XG2431 instead, but as it seems its not gonna be reviewed any time soon.
Anyone knows why da hell does Samsung C24RG50 have freakin' 350 votes? That thing is a 24" 144Hz VA panel from 2019. Is it because its cheap? Expect extra bad response times is what I'd guess.

Yes, I think he went back to XL2546K for a while because he preferred DyAc+ clarity. 360Hz non-strobed wasn't doing it for him.

lmao you weren't kidding about the Samsung C24RG50?? Must be someone from rtings manipulating the votes because he probably just wanted to test this monitor he bought a few years ago, just a guess why would anyone mass vote that.Discorz wrote: ↑20 Sep 2021, 07:58Now I'm interested where will it land on RTINGS list with both response times and input lag. Re: Acer 390Hz monitor - XV252QF
So you're discounting his hard input lag data because of his preferences regarding blur reduction? All the while stating "390 hz has more input lag than 360 hz" as a fact even though it's literally based on your "feel" that no one here seems to share. Sound.

Re: Acer 390Hz monitor - XV252QF
Does anyone here have this monitor and something like an LDAT to quickly run some latency tests?
