How is the lower end of the brightness? I hate bright screen and many panels even when I turn brightness to 0 its still bright af
max os hdr brightness and foundation s01e07 half the screen is pitch black in the Invictus scene, with an open window
Coming from a TN panel, the acer seems pretty DIM when the oc settings are on.

again, depends on what brightness setting you are used to, got nothing to do with tn ips debate. but no it's not your premium hdr tv type

the foundation hdr are also way out of the league of most stuff, 2k+ nits max on almost all episodes. Dune is like not even 1k

Probably.

Kinda obvious. Specs and how fast it got up gave it away not the vote number this time.

I really have problems in cs go to spot enemies compared to XL2540. Models do not stand out from backround somehow.
Everything so dark and colorless. Maybe the Zowie was the other extreme and I need to adapt?
Playing/aiming feels really good and I would like to keep the acer.
Can someone share settings for competetive cs go only?
Thanks

actual settings:
colors: warm
gamma 2.2
max brightness on+increased in driver
OD normal
OC on
VRB off
Blackboost on
Saturation increased in driver

What's interesting about this monitor? Seems very odd. With 200€ msrp it's not even very interesting as a value proposition. 24" 1080P VA 144Hz 4ms.

Is there any reason you have VRB off? It's pretty much the biggest selling point of this monitor (aside from the price) and the latency hit is like 0.8ms so it's basically imperceptible. It's what makes up for not having tight-knit response times.
