Re: Games feel sluggish in fullscreen compared to windowed
I would suggest trying disabling full-screen optimizations in these games by right click properties compatibility tab then ticking the disable fullscreen check box if still feels the same then I suggest trying to disable MPO check the link for how

Tried them both already.sherifmagdy32 wrote: ↑24 Jan 2022, 07:28I would suggest trying disabling full-screen optimizations in these games by right click properties compatibility tab then ticking the disable fullscreen check box if still feels the same then I suggest trying to disable MPO check the link for how

But i could try it again. Didn’t really focused on the mpo disabled regedit “tweak” if it makes any difference in smoothness. I’ll keep u updated
But isn’t fso good to leave it at default?

Re: Games feel sluggish in fullscreen compared to windowed
Hey there man, regarding this I actually experience this in Valorant when running it in fullscreen mode I notice some line tears and when I change it to windowed fullscreen mode it feels better, smoother and no more linear tears. I dont know also the reason why it happens.
I'm using a 144hz TN Panel monitor and am hitting 250+ fps in normal matches so fps is not a reason I think. Also disabled freesync or any vsync options. Already tried disabling and enabling fullscreen optimizations but the issue still persists.

Try change scaling options in nvidia cp with force override tickmonarch10969 wrote: ↑26 Jan 2022, 23:05Hey there man, regarding this I actually experience this in Valorant when running it in fullscreen mode I notice some line tears and when I change it to windowed fullscreen mode it feels better, smoother and no more linear tears. Re: Games feel sluggish in fullscreen compared to windowed
Hi there sir! Actually Mr. ReaINC answered this on a similar post I made. Btw I'm using an AMD GPU, RX 5700. So as explained by Mr. ReaINC, when using windowed mode it will automatically force the program to have vsync on. As advised he made me enable AMD's own version of vsync, "enhanced sync" and true enough all my queries were answered. The tearing I noticed and motion blur I noticed was gone and it was relatively smoother now.InputLagger wrote: ↑27 Jan 2022, 11:36Try change scaling options in nvidia cp with force override tick
The only thing why I didn't turn on vsync and freesync because I was playing competitively and vsync and freesync as explained by others, introduces input lag. Please correct if I still have misconceptions. Thank you!
