I found the issue and a fix for my input lag but is not a worth fix so I need help
These are my specs:
AMD RYZEN 7 3700X - ASUS PRIME B450-PLUST (LAST BIOS UPDATE) - NVIDIA RTX 2070 - 16GB ram dual channel

UPDATE: Im not sure anymore if it works better with mobile data or not XD, it feels shit both ways
Hello basically I've been having input lag problems for more than 3 years, and for the first time it seems I've found the solution, the fix is that I've tried to play with the mobile internet and all my mouse/keyboard lag delay is gone, but I realised that when I connect the mobile data usb to my motherboard I have exactly the same lag as when I use my ethernet, but when I connect the phone cable to my frontal part usbs it works perfect, no mouse delay no anything, the problem is that I tried with 2 different pcs and with both of them I have exactly that problem old pc: "msi x470 gaming plus" and new pc: "Asus prime b450-plus" with both motherboards I have the same issue, and btw I want to mention that my first pc exploded and made 2 psus died, because I was in a shit house with bad electricity, I also used my new pc in that house so I dont know if both motherboard got destroyed or something, or im unlucky and both network cards are shit, I dont really know but obviously I can't just stay playing with the mobile internet all my life, because it's not stable and even if im on low ping it feels like high ping, I notice 0 lag and 0 desync on my mouse and screen tho, but it's not worth to play like that.
Idk I've had this problem in 2 different houses, in 2 different pcs and that's why I can't think it's an internet problem, because I've tried 2 different companies and several houses over time, so it doesn't make sense for me.
I have been trying to solve this problem for too long, I have tried a thousand things, and the only thing I have noticed that has solved the problem 100% is to play with the mobile data connected connected via usb cable (the charger).
And well, I do not know what I'm going to do because when testing 2 different computers obviously I have had 2 different motherboards, and I dont think that in 2 boards I have the same problem right? Also I have to say that I have a cat8 cable prepared for electrical interferences.
Also big important mention that yesterday I though I got the fix finally for the first time, everything was working perfect after I removed this shit from my pc: https://imgur.com/a/0lTovB8 it was the wifi thing not the network card on my mobo, I didnt have wifi anyways tho because that network card didnt have an antenna, so I decided to remove it from my mobo because it was useless to have it on my pc and I wanted to see if that was the issue on my pc, I tried it because it was the last thing I could try, I tried everything, I swear I removed that and I had 0 input lag on every game I swear is not placebo, I had god hit regist, no desync everything was perfect and I was playing god like in every game for 1 day, but then next day the problem came back, im so depressed I dont know what more I can do.
I don't see any sense, I don't understand what could be the problem, and I can't think of a clear solution, and I don't know what I should invest the money to solve it, im thinking about buying a new motherboard but idk, I need someone to help me I cant continue wasting money for no reason. :DD
I want to add this in case someone who understands the subject needs this information: I have the drivers of my motherboard installed, both LAN, as chipsets etc, everything important is installed, I have tried a thousand different versions of each driver and nothing solves the problem on both pcs.
Ah, I want to make this clear and is that before the "fix" this, my problem was input on the desktop, typing the keyboard was slow, when playing the movement was heavy, the mouse to move it also felt heavy and 0 fluid, prefires in game with no sense and feeling 60hz, impossible to track etc.
But when im playing with the mobile data connected to something that is not my motherboard then I can even do perfect tracking, before it was impossible, I have tried to play aimlab and my scores are a thousand times better in the little time I've tried, I also tried more games and same thing, everything is more smooth the only thing is the mobile wifi is not stable so its not worth, any suggestions ?? ): please I need to fix this somehow
There's more info about my problem in my old post:viewtopic.php?t=10810

To exclude internet connection you need to use your mobile phone/tablet same way as you use your main internet. I asume you just use the mobile inernet for the game only not for downloading, browsing, YT, and so on?
Re: I found the issue and a fix for my input lag but is not a worth fix so I need help
I am currently having the same problem and now after years i am happy that im close to fix my problem, same 0 inputlag using mobile data but the issue is ping is unstable and as u said we cant play with it.
What you need to do next is to bypass your on board ethernet card on your mobo, try to use a type c to ethernet card R8153 .
I have ordered the same will be delivering in few days.
Also please check the topic " [Ethernet Onboard-vs-USB-vs-PCIe] I finally found the reason behind my input lag after 6 years ".
Bless this guy
So its either the onboard ethernet mobo network card or ISP

with no internet connection do you have this problem too? sorry I didn't get it if you had this offline too or only playing online. If you just disconnect your modem and turn off the internet, do you still have input lag even offline?Smokq wrote: ↑11 Dec 2022, 16:34These are my specs:

Re: I found the issue and a fix for my input lag but is not a worth fix so I need help
Yes, I just use it just for gaming, but sometimes I watch youtube videos, twitch streams etc, the thing is that it feels so laggy, and yesterday I though I got the fix finally, everything was working perfect after I removed this shit from my pc: https://imgur.com/a/0lTovB8 it was the wifi thing but I didnt have wifi anyways because that network card didnt have an antenna, so I decided to remove it from my mobo to see if that was the issue on my pc, I tried it because it was the last thing I could try, I tried everything, I swear I removed that and I had 0 problems, but then it came back 1 day after, I still have issues while opening google tabs, while gaming I have desync, and mouse feel shit, but all of this get fixed while using mobile data (if I connect the mobile cable to my motherboard I still feel the lag, but if I connect the mobile cable to my pc frontal usb the lag is gone, but I have 2 different pc's with the same problem and im using cat8 SFTP, im about to go crazy tbhMegaMelmek wrote: ↑11 Dec 2022, 18:25To exclude internet connection you need to use your mobile phone/tablet same way as you use your main internet. Btw once I removed that wifi component from my computer the problem I was having with turning on my pc its fixed, basically when I before when I was trying to turn on my pc it powers on for a second, then powers off for a second and after 2 seconds it powers back on normally like nothing happen, but anyways that issue is fixed now that I have removed that
Re: I found the issue and a fix for my input lag but is not a worth fix so I need help
I would send a pic of it, but I tried so many versions of LAN drivers, I tried with default settings and also with the settings in the screenshot you have sent, I dont think its because of the settings, it has to be drivers, my motherboard or my network card, but its so weird because I have the same issue with 2 different motherboards "msi x470 gaming plus" and "Asus prime b450-plus" I know both of them are not the best for gaming, but should I have this issues with desync, and mouse feeling? I noticed that my mouse issue gets fixed while using mobile data but it only works when the cable of my phone is not connected to my motherboard usb, because when it is plugged in to my motherboard the lag is still there, but when is plugged to the frontal usbs everything its fine, not 0 input but 100% better, I guess is not perfect because I cant ask much from playing with mobile data xd, so I dont know I tried everything, I dont know what more I can try, and I dont have money for a new motherboard, I dont even know if that would fix my issue, I just know that everything started in my old house with that shit electricity that made 3 of my psus explode xdd, im still woried that the gpu/rams or my battery bios is fucked from that explosion in my old pc (I use that 3 components on my new pc)imprecise wrote: ↑12 Dec 2022, 21:35Can you share a screenshot of your network settings?

Hello, first thank you so much for this information, I had already read this post before, but I will read it again. Btw I want to add that I though I got the fix finally, everything was working perfect after I removed this shit from my pc: https://imgur.com/a/0lTovB8 it was the wifi thing on my mobo but I didnt have wifi anyways because that network card didnt have an antenna, so I decided to remove it from my mobo to see if that was the issue on my pc, I tried it because it was the last thing I could try, I tried everything, I swear I removed that and I had 0 problems with lag it was even better than playing with mobile data, but then it came back 1 day after and still have this issue, I know it wasnt placebo I compete at high level and trust me I can notice that, I was god like when it got fixed.Sambyal wrote: ↑12 Dec 2022, 16:06I am currently having the same problem and now after years i am happy that im close to fix my problem, same 0 inputlag using mobile data but the issue is ping is unstable and as u said we cant play with it.

So its either the onboard ethernet mobo network card or ISP
Btw could you link the thing you bought from amazon? I want to see if I can buy it and try it too, and btw do you have it in your home or still no? If you have it, how is going, it fixed your issue?
I want to add one last thing, after I fixed this I was so happy because I had 0 issues but when the lag was back I was so sad and I tried to go back to my old pc (it had no gpu, no ram and no battery bios because im using all of that on my new pc) so I had to change all that components to the old pc and I still have this issues, so I dont know if there's something wrong with those components, or both of the motherboards are fucked with the network card? old pc: "msi x470 gaming plus" and new pc: "Asus prime b450-plus" I know both are trash for my pc but it should not be that bad right?
Sorry if I misspelled something, English is not my first language. :DD
Re: I found the issue and a fix for my input lag but is not a worth fix so I need help
Tbh its hard to answer because I only play at high level in 2 games, and both of them are not possible to play in offline mode, but I tried to play aimlabs and Kovaaks (games for practicing your aim) and it feels good with no internet, I beat my scores and mouse feels right, but I dont want to confirm that because it could be placebo, I dont think it is, but just in case, it would be easy to answer if I could try in the 2 games I play the most, but I have to add that I tried with my mobile data just to try that games, and I can say that with mobile data is 100% better than ethernet, but is still shit because mobile data is not good enough xD, btw already said it in the main post, but I repeat it just in case, I have tested 2 different pcs and 2 different houses, only that in the new pc I had to reuse my gpu/ram and battery bios, and for me its so hard to focus in the main issue because the first pc literally exploded in my old house, so I though all the time one of my components could be fucked, and now im using 3 of them in the new pc, so its not like im trying a "new" pc, everything its new but not my gpu/ram and the bios battery thing, I also tried both pcs in my old house so that bad electricity could have destroy my new pc with the different mobo too? idk its hard for me to believe in my too motherboards I have bad network cards, I dont have any friends with issues like thisinternetexplorer4 wrote: ↑12 Dec 2022, 17:57with no internet connection do you have this problem too? sorry I didn't get it if you had this offline too or only playing online. old pc mobo: "msi x470 gaming plus" and new pc: "Asus prime b450-plus" I know both of them are not the best for gaming, my first mobo (the old) it was going to be the MSI x470 gaming plus MAX" but I got the one without the MAX, basically I got scam a few years ago in the shop I bought the pc xD, the said they didnt have the MAX but they had the other one in stock so they added that one instead, now I regret because that was my first pc and I have no idea about this type of things, maybe both of my network cards are shit? because in both pcs I have the same problem and both pcs works better with mobile data
Re: I found the issue and a fix for my input lag but is not a worth fix so I need help
You had 3 PSUs explode? I wouldn't trust anything from that computer any longer. GPU and/or RAM is likely messed up. Are you able to swap these out for known good components and test?Smokq wrote: ↑15 Dec 2022, 23:54I would send a pic of it, but I tried so many versions of LAN drivers, I tried with default settings and also with the settings in the screenshot you have sent, I dont think its because of the settings, it has to be drivers, my motherboard or my network card, but its so weird because I have the same issue with 2 different motherboards "msi x470 gaming plus" and "Asus prime b450-plus" I know both of them are not the best for gaming, but should I have this issues with desync, and mouse feeling? The battery is probably fine but it would be really cheap to replace.
