Move pc is only fix

Separate area for niche lag issues including unexpected causes and/or electromagnetic interference (ECC = retransmits = lag). Interference (EMI, EMF) of all kinds (wired, wireless, external, internal, environment, bad component) can cause error-correction latencies like a bad modem connection. Troubleshooting may require university degree. Your lag issue is likely not EMI. Please read this before entering sub-forum.

Move pc is only fix

Post by Lagsadok » 25 Dec 2022, 10:41

I have issue for over a year since moving to my current home, tried a lot and wasted money. Only fix is to move location or which worked for me was just move to another room in house completely fixed it. Don't waste money on new pc, ups or anything new providers do not waste. If you cannot move home then try a different room it worked for me. I even tried an extension cord from another room but that did not work only putting my pc in the room, so im assuming interference outside room close or in room but not sure from what. Good luck

Is anybody room next to an air conditioner?? I have tried getting an extension cord to another room a while back it actually helped issue still there but I also remember having a cousin that stayed with me he has a ps4 and he asked me to play a game for
Him while he did something, why did the ps4 feel way better than my beefy pc he played in the garage while I played in my room. Very weird. So I’m wondering if it could be ac causing issues or house or community.

My room's AC is hooked to the same circuit as my PC, I have changed the AC wiring to have a plug rather than directly connected to the circuit, I even pulled a whole new 3in1 cable just to supply with its own circuit and the problem was always there. So, nope, AC or anything on my room's circuit was not the issue.

Only 7? I tried in 13 Locations over 9 countries.

Good Luck to all, unfixable.
