First evidence regarding a BenQ monitor with Gsync that I have seen!

Is it really worth $800 cdn? Hopefully that will come down to a more reasonable street price. Might even be worth waiting for the Rift?

Is MemoryExpress a reputable company as NewEgg or Amazon over there? Could be a ridiculous upcharge for it from them because for that price you might as well get the ROG Swift.

Very reputable. I have bought several computers from them and they price match + with NewEgg.ca & others. I suspect that may just be a placeholder msrp, as they often have sales. But starting at $800, I cannot see getting one for like $500 on sale? But only time will tell, and early adopters are probably going to pay more, until the supply chain fills up.

I wonder if Benq will offer more than one Display Port input with its hybrid engine design.

Also having this hybrid engine together with Gsync, I wonder if it will actually increase input lag at the end of the day.

Having read the material more closely it sounds like you can have G-sync or classic mode, but the two may not allow intersection of features. Nor does it comment on which one may be better.

I wonder if this is just a fast to market feature that will be superceded with something more thorough given more time and thought?
