Low rez csgo player here, need advice.

Low rez csgo player here, need advice.

Looking at upgrading from one of the original 240hz asus tn panels.
playing 1280x960 around 500 fps on cs.
looking for advice from something that knows a lot more than me haha.
last I checked XL2566K was the choice for 1080p, so just want to make sure before I purchase.

From what I've seen, you will NOT be able to use 360hz on XL2566K with CS:GO at 1280x960. So if you're looking to use 360hz at that resolution, don't bother.

I saw a post on this forum stating that when they tried playing in a 4:3 / lower resolution that they could only achieve 240hz. I'm happy to be proven wrong though.

I can confirm that DisplayPort you can run 360hz but not HDMI since it's not HDMI 2.1.
