Extreme Monitor Overclocking Experiment Questions

Is what’s limiting overclocking LCD displays to high refresh rates the LED strips heating from the extra power? I want to try an experiment 3D printing a custom monitor enclosure to use a dielectric fluid to create a cooling system immersing hot parts to quickly transfer the heat and keep everything cool. I’m still researching and need a better understanding of monitors before starting but thought this would be the best website to go for input on this kind of stuff.
