I've played a game (titanfall).
I also have my Asus monitor side by side the BenQ and in motion tests, the Asus has 0 motion blur in the middle of the screen (unless i strain and lean really close in).
BenQ looks just like ass. The motion blur was persisting through into games too. I played Titanfall and felt like i was getting drunk hah. FPS said 119 or 120 the entire time as well, just like the Asus screen.
Also, i pushed out some videos via SVP like I do on the Asus so I can get 120fps video, and it looked worse on the BenQ again.
Maybe I got a faulty unit or something. It's supposed to be the same screen as the Asus so I'm not sure what the deal is. I've given it it's due, but the Asus looks waaaaaaaaay better.
Cannot get CRT clarity. Custom Res etc tried

For comparison, you can see how extremely minor the Asus is...

I'm going to give BenQ the benefit of the doubt.
I'm sending this one back to Amazon and getting a replacement, claiming it broken.
I have the BenQ and Asus side by side and Asus is working (albeit I have to bug out lightboost, but the settings stick).
I'm going to try it again on another BenQ panel (alone, again, without Asus) to see if it'll work.
Currently, I can mess around with the blur reduction utility etc, but it just doesn't come close to what the Asus is able to do. BenQ is now the step child 2nd monitor hehe. I'll give it a 2nd go, then return it if I just don't see it comparing to Asus.
Best of luck to everyone else who bothers with BenQ monitors over Asus. Asus so far has trumped BenQ hands down. Brightness, motion clarity...all in Asus' court.

Your replacement monitor will be the same.
BTW you can lower the ghosting to a more acceptable level (reduces it by about half intensity) by setting contrast from 50 to 40.
If you compare it by using profiles on the S switch, while the top of the screen doesn't 'change much, you do see the bottom area become about 50% more transparent on the inverse images (quite noticeable). This actually makes a lot of sense; one thing chief blur buster said to do on the Asus 24" (even more so for the 27" VG27H/HE, which always has more ghosting than the 24") was to reduce the contrast (which also tones down the lightboost pink tint slightly, and reduces ghosting even more), and the Benq also responds favorably to that).
The 24" should always have less ghosting than the 27", but regardless, Asus tracefree simply works much better than AMA. Benq needs to completely redesign their AMA; there's no reason why on the SAME exact panel (24" AU for both) that AMA should look that much worse than tracefree.
Do keep in mind that you can not adjust colors, contrast or gamma in lightboost. While the Asus motion blur clarity looks almost like a CRT, the contrast ratio and color accuracy take a MAJOR nose dive compared to the Benq's BR. Some people even stopped using lightboost because the image quality became so inaccurate and the colors so muted. So at the moment, the ONLY way to have your cake and eat it too is to use the Eizo screen.
Asus REALLY should have included their own fully tweakable 60-144 hz strobing on their new gsync screens with their adjustable tracefree...they would have had a slam dunk...(ULMB still locks the settings).

Re: Cannot get CRT clarity. Custom Res etc tried
the colors are a hair bit better on the BenQ, yes. But the overall crisp fluidity of the gaming on the Asus, in my eyes, are better for me. On the BenQ i lose sight of enemies. On The Asus, i get that true 120FPS feeling. Last night I had to up my BenQ to 144HZ to get it to feel remotely like the Asus. I loaded some ICC profiles etc and the colors are pretty similar now with the slight edge going to BenQ for the truer color accuracy. Due time will tell which one i really prefer, but for now, it's the Asus.
