Yes exactly, I will continue using the old one, the truth is that I am a little surprised that two network cables affect the performance of a game so much.
hey bro, is the symptoms u had include, (slow mouse) feels folaty or on ice, (Desync) enemies see you before you see them like they peek kill you and then you see them after you already died, (bad hitreg) the bullets never register no matter how hard you try to aim it barely hits the enemy and it feels like the bullets are flying around and not straight. ?
also can you send me a link of the old ethernet cable (the good one)

reason is grounding.
cat8 is sftp?
if that black sftp cable that is it.
you connect pc ground and lan provider (or router) ground. You can remove ground contact from cable and and you won't see any difference.
Cat8 sftp cause + 8% THD for my setup (i think bad router psu cause that).
better variant use sftp to router. From router to pc use standard unground lan cat5e.

As i see on the description , both are "S/FTP" no ?
Cable Construction: S/FTP (Shielded Foiled Twisted Pair).
6. Construction: S/FTP (Shielded Foiled Twisted Pair)

Under 100m, the same speed connection delivers identical latency, whether using Cat 8, Cat 5, or fiber optic cables.

Yes, both are the same. The only difference is the color.
Maybe a production failure on the white one.

I bought some white CAT 8 network cables
Can you specify what gauge this Cat 8 Ethernet cable have? This info is printed along the cable, look for a number like: 28 AWG. Best Ethernet cables to date are the 22 AWG. Lower number (Thicker, more copper inside, hard to bend)=Fast cable. Higher number= congested cable (Thinner, less copper inside, easy to bend). Compare it to your old cable. That could be the reason it works better.
