Yea, it’s pretty easy to tell a difference even though both ports go to the same USB 3.2 controller, but the pin out is different. I haven’t been paying much attention to newer 8k meme mice (even though I have a Viper 8k I don’t use). Anyone know if any mice with USB 3 pin out actually exist?

usb 2.0 - 1000hz max (full speed)
usb 2.0 - 8000hz max (high speed)
There's no need to spend extra money on a USB 3.0 mouse:
usb 3.0 - 8000hz max (same like usb2.0 high speed)

my haste 2 and viper 8k work on usb 2.0 with 1000hz both

After rewriting USB drivers for Linux and FreeBSD, how can I determine where I've made errors and which specific line they are on?
Again this is correect info:

how you explain usb 1.1 mouse work for 1000hz?
if you set 1000hz on your 8000hz mouse (usb 2.0 hs) you not get fullspeed port, your info is wrong.
im use legacy usb 1.1 (OpenHCD) and usb 2.0 (Standard Enhanced PCI), I know what I'm talking about.
if your device work usb 2.0 hs, change rate to 125hz not lower your port or device to usb 1.1 fs.
