This absolutely makes sense. Its super tight and iam not loosing anything according to razer polling rate tester, stable 8k on 12mbpsHyote wrote: ↑18 Oct 2024, 10:07I can't answer this in a technically proper way so I'll just use my own words. You need much less bandwidth for your devices so having more won't help with latency but can cause more inconsistency. Also I didn't make the post because I experienced some kind of mouse heaviness fix but because this is one setting that has a positive effect in theory.

Re: Another SCEWIN post
Same with my evga x570, some settings are stored on nvram (scewin should read thoose) and some are on spi flash, correct me someone if im wrong, but yeah. I dont have this option in official bios and even in scewin, however in unlocked bios i can see it in uefi , for example things like pci latency timer is not visible in my scewin dump, many many settings (most of them dont really matter) are not visible in scewin if your board is designed in this way. You need your bios mod, follow this guide to unlock it https://github.com/BoringBoredom/UEFI-E ... readme-ov- and then use usb flashback function . But remember to have backup usb with original bios Also be cautious , some bioses needs to be renamed to specific name , asus i think include renamer tool with bios file, for example my bios always must be named "EVGAA579.bin" otherwise nothing will happen.JimCarry wrote: ↑14 Jan 2025, 04:17Can someone explain how with my old pc when i use scewin and export my bios i used to see all the options mentiond in this thread and even the option to enable or disable hpet(wich is hidden in asus bios by default) and now with the new pc when i extract my bios there only very few options but when i enter the bios with del button i can see the real options?

Re: Another SCEWIN post
thanks but this method seems too hard for me or i am lazy, also i have 2 version of scewin, when i press Export button on older version i generate file with name "BIOSSettings" and with the other version scewin "5.05.01.0002" when i press Export button i generate "nvram".And on my old mb asus i can see so many options like for example hpet(wich is hidden on asus),but on my new build both version of scewin works but with so less options:(.For example again when i enter bios I can see some options like "Usb legacy suport" but when i export my bios via scewin i cant see it.agendarsky wrote: ↑14 Jan 2025, 06:16Same with my evga x570, some settings are stored on nvram (scewin should read thoose) and some are on spi flash, correct me someone if im wrong, but yeah. That makes me afraid of upgrading even more then. I tried Bored's tool last year but the flashback wouldn't work because apparently you might need a USB 2.0 pendrive with less than 1 GB of storage AND it was never used before.JimCarry wrote: ↑14 Jan 2025, 04:17Can someone explain how with my old pc when i use scewin and export my bios i used to see all the options mentiond in this thread and even the option to enable or disable hpet(wich is hidden in asus bios by default) and now with the new pc when i extract my bios there only very few options but when i enter the bios with del button i can see the real options?

Re: Another SCEWIN post
I will be honest upgrade is a must, i play cs2, so on my old pc i5 6600 with rx 580 i have 220 fps average on the famous map for fps benchmarks, now with the same gpu and same psu but with amd cpu and new ram (from 2100 to 6000mhz)i have 550fps average.Hyote wrote: ↑14 Jan 2025, 10:12That makes me afraid of upgrading even more then. But on the pc with 220 fps average i did change so many settings in scewin like hpet the usb settings you show, Limit CPUID Maximum and so on and it was better, not only more fps but constant fps but the feeling was better, but now maybe because the mb is new and the cpu, scewin dont show all option,i think the guy who make scewin (amid) must do a new version, for example you can turn off hpet on asus mb via scewin with only 1 restart of the pc ? but if dont have scewin you cant see the option in bios?! make scewin great again!

Re: Another SCEWIN post
Very interesting because for the first 2 minutes after starting up the PC it's perfect then it goes black to being slightly delayed. That is with the Enabled setting.Slender wrote: ↑23 Jan 2025, 00:35Setup Question = GPIO filter
