i am not sure i agree with you,on my old mb i did have clean bcdedit, and when turning on or off HPET current timer resolution was changing,however on my new mb i cant even see HPET so i cant change it at all,so did i make it ?

You need to watch this video, so you can reduce the timer resolution. Without running dpclat in the background, the timer resolution does not change. I don't know how true this is.
But this benchmark that you use immediately shows a decrease in slept from 15 to 2 ms. On Windows 11, this slept becomes 1 ms

He has so low delta because his timer resolution is not 5000 is 5066(i am not sure 100%),but that does not change the fact the i can have the same delta as him in the video on win 10 but for do that i must run "dpclat.exe" 24/7 even if i pres on it to "stop",and thats what i am asking again for the second time,is it better ro run only steam.exe and cs2.exe for example,because with "dpclat.exe" yeah delta is 0,but the "dpclat.exe" is costing perfomance more then is helping right ?TN_fun wrote: ↑12 Mar 2025, 15:22I don't know. I haven't found a way to make slept 1 ms yet.
As for your question about performance - I don't know. I need to play for a few days to understand if there is a big difference. So far I like it. I played with dpc check without even pausing it. I don't think that if you pause it it will worsen performance.
I don't know. You have to decide for yourself what's best. I'll pause it today and see how it feels.
