Is there any information on what refresh rates the BFI or "ELMB" mode supports?

TFTcentral review. BFI is avaiable @240hz with "480hz quality" at 2ms persistence, AND bfi is also avaiable @120hz but... it's 4ms... so equivalent to 240hz. Was hoping for 120hz/480equivalent, but that is not the case. Bummer.

I think it's time for Software Rolling Scan Emulation that Chief was talking about.
We are at 480hz now, it's time for the first tests.

Very tempted to get this monitor, but I'm not sure due to mixed views of the VRR flicker and text still not being as clear as an LCD (though an improvement from previous models)?

I'm also thinking how fast a lot of improvements are being made year over year especially with OLED. To any PG27AQDP owners, are there any drawbacks or dealbreakers with this monitor?

Weird that the LG model wasn't announced yet, secretly hoping they actually add DP2.1 ...

I'm still angry that rolling scan on OLED was already done in 2016 (Dell UP3017Q) and now it seems dead. That monitor only supported rolling scan and no sample-and-hold function at all. And that's at 60Hz as well, where it could either single-strobe or double-strobe with a rolling scan:

viewtopic.php?f=2&t=3312&start=30#p25622

So the bar was set very high in 2016 already, but no manufacturer seemed to care and they abandoned rolling scan. We now get BFI at best, usually very poorly implemented, and that's that :P

To get anywhere near the rolling scan quality of that display by emulating it through a very high FPS moving bar , we need like 10000Hz...

Check out the TFTCentral review.

I have no complaints with mine. I haven't tried using VRR and BFI very much though. I'm primarily using it for competitive games with uncapped framerates.

I wonder if that input lag is a firmware bug or something, seems way too high for this panel.
