I just wanted to say thank you very much. I've been struggling with really bad mouse lag/floaty feeling and this is the first "fix" that has made a noticeable difference.
CS2 feels MUCH better after running extensive tests to rule out placebo.

Everything from bios tweaks to reg edits, EMI testing and more - it has all been tried and failed.
THANKS ONCE AGAIN.

Here's my specs if anyone is interested:
- CPU: Intel Core i7-14700K
- MOBO: ASUS ROG STRIX Z790-H GAMING WIFI
- RAM: GSkill DDR5 32Gb (16 X 2) (@6000 XMP Enabled)
- GPU: GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 4070 AERO OC 12G
- PSU: Super Flower 850Watt
- STORAGE: NVMe M.2 1Tb
- Windows 11 Pro (23H2 - up to date)

Which action did you use to fix it?
I have no input lag, currently mainly researching desync.

According to your version, wmi crashes, but where are these errors displayed and how do they manifest themselves? In the event log?
After resetting wmi, the registry settings will not be reset?

Always create a restore point before trying random tweaks as this could happen.

This is not a solution to anything and it's not recommended to clear it all the time.

Just because it didn't do anything for you, doesn't mean it won't for anyone. Tried it 3 days ago and it's still working

You want to stop the WMI before resetting it to avoid crashes and errors spam.

net stop winmgmt
