I see, thanks. A question about the Nvida Control Panel: I have Vsync on and Ultra Low Latency Mode set to Ultra. Is there a need to cap the FPS in Nvidia Control Panel to -3 FPS from max refresh rate as these two settings should already cap it anyway? And when using Special K I would use Special K's limiter anyway?
If you use SK, you don't need to even bother with the "ultra" setting. You can enable Reflex in SK, which works better than ultra low latency. You can then cap with SK on top of Reflex.
Set vsync to "use 3d application setting" and you can leave low latency to "off". If you tick the "auto VRR" checkbox in SK, it will apply the correct FPS limit automatically. Unless you want something lower than that, in which case use a custom FPS cap and untick the "auto vrr" box.
For the least VRR flicker, the "Normal" limiter mode is best in SK. The "low latency (VRR)" and "DLSS-G" limiters can produce slight flicker even at stable FPS. But it depends on the display. If you don't see any flicker whatsoever with the "low latency" limiter, then use that. Note that the "DLSS-G" limiter mode is just the Reflex limiter and works even without DLSS frame gen.

Thanks. But there's no harm in having latency mode set to ultra and vsync to on in Nvidia control panel right? I used the recommended settings on the forum for setting up Gsync correctly. With these settings SK applied automatically a cap of 222.872 FPS.
Thing is I don't use SK for every game, just for the games where I get a lot of flicker. So in other games I would use global Nvidia settings.

Ultra is going to get ignored when using Reflex, so it's fine. Vsync though can cause problems with MPOs where things start to stutter for no apparent reason, especially after alt+tabbing. It's not recommended to force it in nvcp anymore. Also, forcing it will prevent SK from being able to control vsync dynamically (through its "presentation interval" setting.)

Isn't the recommended setting Vsync ON in NVCP on the Blur Busters website?
Also I don't want SK to manage Vsync, I want to use SK just as a pure frame limiter in certain games.

So the settings are outdated? So what should the Vsync setting be in in Nvidia control panel if I just want to use SK as my FPS limiter? So basically regardless of SK what should Vsync be set to in NVCP? Thanks for your help

Default. Which is "3d application setting." You then enable/disable vysnc in the game.

So should I enable it in game or leave it off if I use Gsync and LLM ultra?

You can enable it to prevent tearing in all cases. If the game has other behavior tied to its vsync setting, you can leave it off and enable it through SK instead:
-1: Don't override the game.
0: Vsync off (this forces SK latent sync.)
1: Normal vsync.
2: 1/2 vsync.
3: 1/3 vsync
4: 1/4 vsync.
Changing it in SK does not require a restart. It takes effect immediately. But don't use the fractional vsync settings, as they prevent g-sync from working.

But what if I don't use SK? Should I just enable it in NVCP in that case? I am looking for a global setting where I don't have to mess around all the time depending on the game.
