Tbh I think it was wrong assumption from the beginning. EDID 600hz doesn't automatically means display scaling. Also I don't quite understand what "eSports scaler" could offer here, you still can't run 1280x960@600hz without DSC in DP1.4. In theory it makes sense if you lower refresh rate or resolution AND monitor scaler is as good as GPU scaler AND you don't want DSC.

EDID is just what the monitor reports to the computer as its capabilities, in terms of Zowie Monitors it does have one advantage though.

For some reason the overdrive settings are only properly tuned at the correct EDID setting, if you use the monitor in the 360hz EDID, the overdrive is set properly on default when using it at 360hz. If you have the monitor on the 600hz EDID, the default overdrive setting is not as good at !360hz!. This is easily adjusted through the menu of the monitor and the help of testufo.com though

But in general the EDID setting just changes the capabilities the monitor reports to the computer.

GPU Scaling

I ended up buying AG246FK6, I believe it shares same internals as CS24A or at least similar. Anyone knows what CRU settings I should set to get real display scaling? Even with "Display" scaling at NVCP I get GPU scaling no matter what res/refresh rate combination I set.

Is this just supposed to be a meme? Because you can easily scale this properly on any gpu lol

Just have to use the proper scaling algo for that, you can change that in a lot of image viewers/editors/software/browser/whatever.

I got a monitor with 1:1 scaling, 310 Hz full-screen scaling, and a square aspect ratio—everything looks sharp, smooth, and awesome here, but in CS it’s no use; I was stuck at 43 seconds and it stayed that way. I really hoped the problem was with the monitor, but no! Maybe the OP could share their PC specs? BIOS settings and stuff? Since everything here is practically identical to your monitor except for the Hz.

nocries uses display scaling.
