Different kind of interest or folks. You don't see a car owner tune his car just for the sake either. He just uses it as a transportation vehicle.

Hello I'm new to the pc world.Ive just built my first pc but I'm struggling to get it running perfectly/smoothly.I came across this thread and tried to copy your settings however there ere quite a few that weren't in my bios.My system consists of-cpu:ryzen7 3700x,motherboard:msi mpg x570s edge max wifi, gpu:asus rog strix 3060ti oc v2,power supply:corsair cx750f rgb, ram:corsair vengeance lpx 3200mhz,monitor:benq zowie xl2540k.Im guessing the options aren't there for me due to mobo brand/model etc.Has anybody got any settings for my bios that will make my games run smoothly with very little latency please.

Does disabling TSME and Data Scramble work with AM5? I used all these settings and also disabled Power Down mode, enabled Resize Bar, enabled PBO, enabled EXPO II, disabled Memory Context Restore, set FCLK to 2000, and set UCLK equal to MEMCLK. I had to use the latter two since my PC wasn’t booting if I set those to Auto. If I use TSME and/or Data Scramble with EXPO II, my PC doesn’t boot.
I was finally able to disablr Power down mode since it refused to work for a long time. Does Power Down mode matter though since it’s not listed in your post? I suppose not being to disable these security settings isn’t the worst since I’m using my PC as a general purpose machine; it could be dangerous to turn these two off. Also, I do have an ASUS TUF GAMING B650-Plus Wifi, and it’s been widely reported that ASUS AM5 BIOSesbare awful and cause a lot of issues like not being able to boot and BSODs.
Additionally, I dont see a few of these settings. Do they have different names for AM5 or ASUS, or do they just not exist? I can’t find CPPC, CPPC Preferred Cores, APBDIS, SOC P-State, and NBIO LCLK DPM.

To supercharge PBO, Curve Optimizer, and FO (boost override) I first disable ASUS fMAX Enhancer in the ASUS implementation of PBO in BIOS. Everything else is set to Auto under this section (we want to use AMDs PBO, not the vendors).
I have a positive voltage offset for vcore set to +0.01875v to help boost single core performance. Then I pair the lowest CPU llc setting to level 1 to allow for vdroop to keep multicore performance. Some suggest level 3 but if you use a + voltage offset for vcore with llc level 3, it will tank your multicore performance because the voltage stays to high under load and causes thermal throttling.
Then I head over to AMDs PBO settings in the BIOS and set all my settings through this menu. Mine specifically I found for 5950x were 235w ppt, 150 tdc, 175 edc, 1x scalar, +200mhz boost, and per core curve optimizer using corecycler to test each cores stability individually (takes forever but it's worth it if you're a nerd like me lol)
Disabling global C-States will help you achieve a better curve optimizer result as well. With C-States enabled, my two best cores were only stable at +3 and -1. With C-States disabled, they're stable at -4 and -9. You may not see your peak mhz of each core go as high as C-States enabled but the latency tradeoff is by far worth the 100mhz or so loss you may or may not get by disabling C-States. I score around 34000 points in cbr23 multi thread and 1615 pts in single core. 37200 in superposition and 20700 in 3dmark timespy.

Settings i have on am5 and i apply:
-Power Down Enable - Disabled
-Spread Spectrum Control - Disabled
-AMD Cool'n'Quiet function aka PSS - Disabled
-Global C-state control - Disabled
-SMT Mode - Disabled
-L1 Stream HW Prefetcher - Enabled
-L2 Stream HW Prefetcher - Enabled
-DF Cstates - Disabled
-SoC/Uncore OC Mode - Enabled
-TSME - Disabled
-Data Scramble - Disabled
Settings i dont see:
-CPPC - Disabled
-APBDIS - 1
-SOC P-State - P0
-NBIO LCLK DPM
Settings i cant disabled because there is no disable:
-CPPC Dynamic Preferred Cores
