Amazon has it in stock now with various market vendors now as well. Probably take a few weeks for the price to settle out.

Just got mine from Fedex *edit* Yes it does have the strobe timing bug.

WOW this monitor is amazing!!! No backlight bleed or dead pixels and that buttery smooth 144hz so nice :D

Just got mine too. Ran home and set it up on lunch. Only played with it for 5 minutes.

Colors are of the box are rough which is to be expected. Nothing my Spyder 4 cant fix.
Backlight bleed seemed good but we wont know for sure until its calibrated.
Anti glare coating appears to be far less sparkly than the XL2420TE at first glance.

Blur reduction is incredible. The motion resolution blows away Toasty's light boost mod (sorry Toasty). I've tried them on Both the XL2420TE and Asus VG248QE. It also managed to be brighter at the same time.

Once I have time I'll come back with something more concrete than these initial impressions.

Coming from a 3007WFP-HC, the TN panel was pretty harsh, but after a quick calibration it's not too bad. I can hardly notice the anti-glare coating on the XL2420Z, granted the only other monitor I can compare it to is the Dell, which has a REALLY strong AG coating.

I haven't play much with the Blur reduction, I'm still amazed with the 144hz

If you dont have a color meter already I suggest something like a Spyder4 Pro or else you will not be satisfied with the colors. The real question now is which gamma mode should I calibrate off. There are 5 of them I believe...

Edit: Calibrated ICC profile attached. Picture mode: Standard, gamma mode 2 and contrast 40. Everything else is default. Brightness is your choice.

Edit2: for those who already downloaded the ICC profile please redownload this one. The original was not as good as the monitor out of the box wasn't displaying as much gamut as it should have on the blue side. I created a new one.

Excellent! I'd like you to do the motion test, and if it has any issues, to also test out the new workaround.
My XL2420Z is affected by the crosstalk issue as well. It seems 144 hz with blur reduction has less of it than 120 hz. The work around appeared to have no effect. I thought they would have had this fixed before shipping.

Turn on strobing and move a web browser window that is full of text left and right quickly. Looks really bad on the bottom half of the screen.

Post the manufacture date of your monitor along with results on issues. It would be useful to track when they fix the problem.
