XL2420Z availability?
XL2420Z availability?
anyone got an inside scoop on this? seems like the XL2720Z is readily available now and the XL2420TE seems sold out at the major e-tailers.
Re: XL2420Z availability?
I bought my XL2720Z directly from the Benq USA shop. I even got a $20 discount coupon so it ended up being $480.
Re: XL2420Z availability?
I asked BenQ support about a week ago and they said mid Feburary. Also Amazon has it listed for pre-order for $499 and it says "Usually ships in 1 to 2 months," so maybe Feburary! *crossesfingers*

Anyway, the motion blur reduction is worth every dollar.
Edit: I suppose all units will have the new firmware. I hope...

Re: XL2420Z availability?
The XL2720Z is $499 on BenQ's site, so hopefully the XL2420Z will be cheaper. I'm hoping it will be closer to $400 than $500, but alas, wishful thinking.masterotaku wrote:mars wrote:Also Amazon has it listed for pre-order for $499I expected it to be cheaper. Usually BenQ has fair prices in Europe, but if it turns out to be $499=€499 (I hope it's going to be €375, the real conversion), then what can we expect from the "G" versions? $599/€599?

Re: XL2420Z availability?
I didn't even see amazon had a product page for it up. i'm guessing the price is just a placeholder

Re: XL2420Z availability?
It's already out now, but XL2720Z has a firmware bug pertaining to BENQ Blur Reduction. I'd wait until the firmware bug is confirmed fixed first.Juin wrote:Oh i completely misread the title i was thinking about the XL2720Z, does anybody have any info on that?
