Well this is disheartening. I ordered this over the weekend, and NOW I find this thread. Mine should be here Thursday (2/13) I really hope it doesn't have the bug.

Can you send me a PM of your serial number? I'm going to keep an eye out for the lowest-numbered serial number that contains the fixed firmware.mars wrote:My mfg date is January 2014.

No idea.jeffk wrote:So we have to wait March+ to order it ?
In Europe the only way to order it at the moment its on the BenQ EU Store. Chief Blur Buster do you know if the stock of BenQ EU Store is already bug-free or not ?
Nah, it does the usual 100, 120, 144. Its not *lightboost* btw, but benQ's motion reduction. ToastyX did manage to insert a few extra refresh rates when I ran setup, but the strobelight util hasn't worked yet.jeffk wrote:Alright, I think i ll wait a while before ordering.
And i read somewhere (on the lighting review, an other topic) that the Lightboost is only avaible at 120hz, is it normal ?
Ok, and so the benQ's motion reduction (aka 2D lightboostTheRulesLawyer wrote:Nah, it does the usual 100, 120, 144. Its not *lightboost* btw, but benQ's motion reduction.
