That is all I can measure or visualize, tbh i dont feel the difference anyway between 8ms (reflex), 9ms (rtss cap) or even
vsync (15ms). I was about to stop when I had the visual clarity with vsync on until someone mentioned rtss. And this turned out to be the best solution for now.
You're implying that GSYNC+VSYNC+Strobing+Reflex leads to a 2x latency increase.
Not only that, you're implying that RTSS cap (unspecified which one) is less total latency (in your particular game of choice) than the setup above, which is wrong.
Feel free to send the data from FrameView here, because I've not seen this reported anywhere.

No, you just keep interpreting things I dont say.
GSYNC+VSYNC+Strobing+Reflex is out of the picture. I dont know why you keep thinking I am comparing this to anything. It stutters like hell, I dont use it.
Reflex is OFF... OFFFFFF. Okay? It is turned OFF. O-F-F
In this case:
If you use Gsync on, Vsync on - you get pulsar clarity - higher latency (15ms)
If you use Gsync on, Vsync off, you dont get pulsar clarity - low latency (9ms)
If you use Gsync off... no pulsar clarity of course
If you use Gsync on, vsync off + manual framecap - low latency. But pulsar clarity is only there if you cap it with RTSS. CS internal and nvcp cap des not lead to pulsar clarity.
Take it, use it, or leave it. I am out.

Looks like TFT was very impressed. Biggest question they answered for me was the Pulsar latency penalty, which only ended up being 2.67ms when compared to 360hz without Pulsar enabled.

I've just noticed that, in TFTCentral's review, he claims that
Maximum Refresh Rate HDMI 360Hz
HDMI connection version 2.1
HDMI connection bandwidth 40 Gbps
Didn't someone here mention that HDMI is still limited to 144Hz?

Pulse width control
For ULMB 2 operation they’ve also added a strobe length control (via the ‘pulse width’ setting) although apparently it may not be introduced on all of the 4 initial Pulsar screens (confirmed present on Asus and Acer models). This isn’t available when using Pulsar, and we’re not sure if it would be practical to add a control for this as the pulse width and height is controlled dynamically during VRR situations to avoid brightness variation, and to account for the different frequency of the strobing. Those who like to adjust things for blur reduction modes will be pleased with the addition though for static ULMB 2 usage.

Does anyone have confirmation whether any of these monitors use DSC or not? I found I was unable to use DLDSR on the Acer monitor but I'm not sure if that's indicative of DSC being on or not.

My current settings are looking really nice on this monitor. I've done a lot of tweaks and testing with the suggestions in this thread. It seems that when my gameplay is capped at 319 then it's the smoothest motion and the lowest latency I've felt.
NVCP:
Low Latency - Ultra
Vsync- Fast
RTTS:
Capped at 342
In-game:
Vsync on (100%}
Reflex: On
You may have to "reset" Pulsar if you make changes on the fly. I do this by enabling and disabling sRGB mode in the game view menu (making sure that the OD setting changes, the screen will turn off and on). Try it out for yourself and report back with any new info!

Based on TFTCentral's review that the ASUS supports HDMI 2.1 FRL5, the display employs DSC on both HDMI & DP.
If it was FRL6, you'd be able to run without DSC through HDMi, which means you'd be able to use DLDSR

Acquired my second unit of this monitor.
I thought my initial unit was defective.
Like the PG27AQN before it, which I had 4 units of, I think this LCD panel suffers from poor brightness uniformity (a kind of vignette) that I am very sensitive too.
Other than that downer, I found the ULMB2 60Hz to be absolutely stunning for 60FPS locked games, emulators and such. ULMB2 60Hz also works with devices other than a PC -- Very impressed. Stellar work!
If Nvidia release this Pulsar/ULMB2 implementation on different panels, I will try my luck again and hope there's not this same brightness fall-off/vignette.
I am back to the XG2431 for now (but the future is bright!)

Interesting you mention a vignette, I didn't know this was a thing so I tested the brightness centre of the screen and it said 560 nits, and in the corners its 500 nits. When looking at the screen it looks uniform white to me but you must be seeing what the colour calibrator sees.
