Its clearly a rolling scan in all the ULMB2 refresh ranges, you can see the roll on an iPhone recorded at 240fps.

Is there a site where we can report these bugs? Cause I'd like to report the findings that the higher refreshes are no longer as clear as they were in previous update (but least update the pulsar would disengage clarity more easily).

From the comments I've seen here, only the 60Hz mode has this option right now.
Higher refresh rates make it easier to achieve the same strobe 'on' period at a higher brightness level.
• Pulse height (brightness / amplitude; NOT voltage boosted amplitude) is adjustable in both modes, I believe. Pulse width is only possible on ULMB2, but from all comments in this thread, it doesn't seem to be targetting a low duty cycle...
If we'd have the ability to push a low pulse width, we could get 0,125ms @ 360Hz @ (extremely low) brightness setting, akin to the PG27AQN
• 'Shape adjustments' (rolling scan vs global scan) are unnecessary. You want rolling scan for less eye strain in the first place.
Though, once TFTCentral releases their article to the public, I'll see what they've specified in there.
60hz just looks better because of the pixel transition times I think.
Its also already a rolling scan.

360Hz @ PW=10 should completely obliterate 60Hz @ PW=10 in terms of eye-tracked clarity.
From how I understood, that's not true in practice, which suggests that 60Hz has a different implementation (duty cycle range is larger, perhaps?) than the other fixed refresh rate targets (120, 240, 360)
The separate 60Hz toggle also implies that the implementation is different.

In those tests the 360hz ULMB2 mode is better than the 60hz mode until you start getting down to 30 pulse width on the 60hz mode, then the 60hz mode starts pulling ahead in clarity down to 10.kyube wrote: ↑17 Mar 2026, 13:32On these tests:

60hz is better only below 30 Pulse Width, this is with a massive hit to brightness 160 nits at 30, 106 nits at 20 and 54nits at 10.

You can make a G-sync on off toggle using 2 bat files and this program:

To my understanding this only turns off or on Gsync, can it set refresh as well? I don't see that listed anywhere, at least that way we'd just need a program to check what app is in the foreground and toggle the highest priority mode. I wish there was a way to disable gsync natively on these monitors... pg27aqn is forced into gsync mode but I want it in ULMB 2 mode but I want pulsar enabled on my other monitor.... but I can live with having everything on the same gsync mode, just want to make Gsync toggle to off and set the max Hz based on the application/game launched so I don't have to fiddle around with a silly monitor OSD, this stuff should really be automatic.brownvim wrote: ↑17 Mar 2026, 13:50You can make a G-sync on off toggle using 2 bat files and this program:

I have this device that is used for lag testing systems specifically for smash melee setups on pc (Button press to average 0-80% transition completion). Kinda similar idea to the LDAT. I'm sure an actual oscilloscope would be better, but this is the persistence of the 60hz ulmb mode 10PW vs. my Sony E400 CRT measured on a lossless adapter.
Asus monitor CRT It seems to report the ULMB pulses around 1800nits. Take that with a grain of salt, this thing is meant to be a gamecube adapter with a lag test feature, not a calibrated display tester

From memory the 10 pulse width at 60hz looks cleaner than CRT, how’s it compare to your CRT?
It’s too dim for me, I use it around 100 to 50 which still blows away an OLED at 60hz.
