Blur Buster's G-SYNC 101 Series Discussion

Talk about NVIDIA G-SYNC, a variable refresh rate (VRR) technology. G-SYNC eliminates stutters, tearing, and reduces input lag. List of G-SYNC Monitors.

It doesn't matter if you force vsync in the driver or not. If vsync is used, Reflex or the "ultra" low latency setting will apply a VRR cap to prevent vsync lag when using g-sync.
Oh interesting. Then in my case reflex would be enabled. Low latency mode is turned off. It is curious though because in RTSS it says my optimal VRR cap is at 228 FPS, in contrast to reflex which configures it to be 225 for my monitor's refresh rate of 240 Hz. RealNC, you have the same XG27AQDMG monitor as me correct? What VRR frame cap does RTSS report to you? I guess reflex and RTSS calculate with different formulas which would explain the discrepancy.

Yeah. Reflex uses this formula:

Hz * 3600 / (Hz + 3600)

RTSS uses something else.
