blur buster ultility question

Post by etegv » 28 Jul 2014, 14:44

Hi, does anyone here know the default blur reduction settings that come with the with Ben q monitors? I downloaded the program and messed around with some settings but I think I like the default blur reduction settings the best. Thing is I forgot what they were :D
Im not sure what persistence/crosstalk was set at..

also about the blur reduction utility... I like to use blur reduction but I want to use it with little input lag. How would I go about optimizing it for low input lag? Im not sure how to set the meter. Does persistence affect inpout lag? or does crosstalk affect it? And would I get less lag if I adjusted the meter to the left or to the right? Im not sure if I should go left or right lol

thanks

Bigger crosstalk = less input lag. If You want to use default settings, maybe try to uninstall the utility and set monitor to factory defult settings in the OSD menu.

Slide Crosstalk to the leftmost setting for minimum possible lag and default.
Default persistence setting is 1.7ms.

Also, do the VT1350 or VT1502 trick for much clearer motion.

Persistence does not affect input lag, but Crosstalk does.
