Can't enable fullscreen exclusive mode

Post by WalterWhiteHimself » 15 Aug 2023, 07:41

I used to have it enabled, then I switched from HDMI to USB-C/DP (I have a legion 5) and it stopped working, even If I switch back to HDMI it won't work...

I followed every possible guide online, I am using Windows 11 22621.2134

Is this with every game you play or a specific game? Can u name a example of a game? ( if its Apex u need to alter the registry. I can send a yt how to do this)

Kirby OS windows 11 has a enable fullscreen exclusive mode button for whole Windows. If that mode exists a disable full-screen exclusive mode for whole Windows should also exist. Seems u activated the latter somehow. My advice is reinstall Windows 11 or in Install KirBY OS win 11 so you can use that switch. Kirby OS is a great gaming build. Very light with great gaming sound. ( don't use it for work though)

I assume it sets GameDVR_FSEBehavior to 2, I already did that

Your assumption does not sound logical. It's a fact your full-screen exclusive mode is disabled for your whole Windows. If the only setting that can make this happen is gamedvr_fsebehavior your problem should already be solved.

Or maybe another setting overwrites it

EDIT : I was right, I got rid of GameDVR_FSEBehaviorMode and it worked :)
