i bet simple caught the desync/electricity bug in csgo2, hes super bad now. You can see it his reaction time looks really slow (probably desync from what he sees on his monitor screen and actual game) and enemies insta one tap him. He takes 30 bullets to kill an enemy with his spray. He used to hit easy shots in csgo because he didnt have desync in csgo. Now he will be finished by this bug

I have seen some clips, he 100% has the desync issue at least from time to time.

I wish I could have his desync. Maybe finally I would make 3k elo.

Well desync won't render you useless but will limit your potential by a lot.

I know this by looking at what I do on good days.

I heard that he has had input lag as of the past year, and I checked out some clips in CS2 on his end and it looks like classical symptoms of dirty electricity/EMI. The hitreg looks incredibly slow/chunky and delayed. In good electrical conditions the hitreg should be fast, and buttery smooth. I actually suspect that this type of desync/delay is caused mainly by the monitor, router and modem's performance being degraded by dirty AC rather than the computer itself. The PSU's in computers have strong enough capacitors to mitigate EMI to enough of a degree but those other components are much worse at that.

His current ISP might also be sub-par, if I were to guess, but that is just speculation.

He also had a big break and doesn't like/enjoy cs2 that much so it's only natural his performance has gotten worse.

It's clear that he has the same issue as we do. He still kills a lot because he is good at this but we can all see the same stuttering all over. And now he also has lower ping which is another disadvantage so yeah you are absolutely right. He got old? sure but not that old and either way he played and plays a lot which keeps muscle memory going strong so please unless he's like 40+ don't start with this.
