with such high refresh rates from the new oleds, and 480hz upcoming, do you still use or find VRR useful?

At such high hz, is extremely difficult to see any kind of tearing, and VRR is kind of problematic on the new oleds, so I was thinking if still makes sense or is just a technology that will die on PC because it won't make sense anymore for anyone with high refresh displays.

It makes less sense on 360Hz+ displays; G-SYNC is and always was a stop-gap.

Tearing is already so negligible on my 360Hz display, I barely even find a need for G-SYNC on + V-SYNC on, and can use G-SYNC on + V-SYNC off with little consequence compared to lower refresh rates.

I'd say at 500Hz and up, G-SYNC (and any form of sync) is nearing obsolescence for the average user, but it can still have its uses.
