https://titan-army.com/products/titan-a ... ng-monitor

Very interesting model, seems to perform similar to the XG2431 & other 23.8" FHD 240hz panels.
KSF-based backlight
VRR seems to be flickery, the usual. Perhaps it works better when the range is tightened or using an AMD GPU.

Panel model used: BOE DV245QHB-N30

Video reviews:
first (rest of the info)
second (contains OSRTT & subpar UFO imo)
third (contains good ufo @ 24:35)
fourth, monitors unboxed review

OSRTT shots:

UFO shots:
(bilibili is 360p when screenshotted, a lot of compression I cannot get over, keep this in mind)

For comparison's sake, here's the XG2431 measured at it's best color profile & OD preset.

This may not be as topic related, but here is how fast the XG2431 can get at 240Hz if custom overdrive was an option. Perceived/complete times can probably do slightly better at OD 43, image is OD 48.

Internally XG2431 offers 0-100 overdrive gain (just like Strobe Utility does for PureXP), but those are unavailable for end users. The 3 Viewsonic' cherrypicked presets in OSD are just using:
  • Standard = 0/100
  • Advanced = 8/100
  • Ultra Fast = 24/100
  • Ultra Fast (User Color bug) = 88/100

OD 24 is obviously not doing best at 240Hz. There is still some room left for improvement. After some tinkering I found a way to use full 100 levels of overdrive for sample & hold mode.

For manufacturers reading, please let people choose their overdrive, not you.

And here is how that looks on ufo test. 1st image is OD 24 (Ultra Fast), 2nd is Custom OD 48. 240Hz, 1920 px/sec.

Or at 960 px/sec

Not a night and day difference but still there. Faster moving speeds nicely amplify the difference.

There's a 1080p version using an HVA panel called P2510H, anyone knows if the smearing problem is improved compared to the old VA panels?
