Optimal G-Sync Compatible settings? Help please

I have a 144hz Asus mg248q monitor that is Gsync Compatible (gsync only shows up in NVCP if I enable 'Adaptive Sync' in my monitor settings). Ive looked at the offical Gsync setup links and others setups online but I want to know from the professionals on here who know more about the difference gsync technologies so I can get the best setup.
In Nvidia Profile Inspector, I can set my Vsync to Adaptive instead of On or Fast, but which is the optimal settings for my specific Gsync compatible monitor? And should I still use Ultra LLM with a 138-137 fps cap in rtss?
Would appreciate anyone who can take the time to comment and clarify some things I mentioned (like Adaptive vsync with my sort of gsync compatible monitor). Id like to understand more in depth because theres so many gsyncs and Im not sure if this is a one size fits all situation, thanks
