Weird Mousetester Results

Wanted to post just to get some clarification from anyone with more knowledge on the mousetester app why this:
might be occuring. Why am I getting polling rate spikes into the high five figures? When I increase the polling rate on the mouse from 1k to 4k the Hz spikes go into the six figures and are much more frequent:
This problem has now occured on multiple motherboards and different cpu's and different mice so unless I've just gotten unlucky with the quality of the usb hubs or the mouse units I don't think that is the problem. Additionally when I use different mouse performance software I still see hz jumps far above the mouse's capabilities. Any ideas?

Win 11?

I have 1k pollrate. My graph also looks like this mess on win 11 23h2. The os & bios is heavily modified. I have tried several mousetester ver on win 11 & all same. Win 10 it was ok, so im sure its not the mouse. It was Deathadder v2. Yesterday i bought vxe mad r 1k & still same type graph. So, at this point me be like- fk this shit.

Yeah I'm on win11. My mouse "works" in that its not unplayable. There is a sense of ever-present input lag and when I turn the hz higher on my mouse the input lag feels worse. So I'm pretty sure that these graphs point to an issue within my machine.
