Marvel Rivals Anti-Lag 2.0

Hey guys so there's a hidden Anti-Lag 2.0 setting in Marvel Rivals after you disable the other settings.(AMD only)

This gets super close to the most Normal Pre 2017 Performance as possible. I've already done as many latency tweaks as possible. But nothing seemed to work until now. https://steamcommunity.com/app/1364780/ ... 8390549499

Current AMD settings: So best settings are Minimal Radeon driver install. Do not do the full install. set custom scaling to 120, turn off Freesync on second monitor(in hardware too), turn on Freesync Premium and Anti-Lag, Then Antilag2.0 in game.

If you install with a full install, Anti-Lag, AMD Optimized, and the Per-Game settings feel terrible, dog shit even. It feels like it throttles the game.

So I'm thinking a majority of input lag nowadays comes from OS level descync between GPU and CPU. But because Marvel has this feature it fixes that problem. Unfortunate because I don't see many games with Anti-Lag 2.0. SO it doesn't matter what you try. Unless your game has this feature that allows it to bypass shitty kernel level desyncs, you are out of luck unless you use a custom OS.

A few notes in regards to this:
Marvel Rivals is a UE5 engine title, running on the D3D12 graphics API
AMD GPUs usually perform adequate enough on that API.

Marvel Rivals has a severe GPU bottleneck on almost all GPUs I've seen.
Even the RTX 5090 struggles to maintain usable FPS for a competitive shooter.
Anti-Lag 2.0 is nothing more than AMD's competitor (equivalent) to NVIDIA's Reflex, which acts as a “variable” frame limiter & helps avoiding the heavy latency penalty from >90% GPU usage.

Ideally, staying around 20–35% GPU usage in all possible in-game scenarios is optimal for total system latency.
That is not easily achievable in Marvel Rivals at low frame times (~2ms).

Yes, software overhead from the OS is a major contributor to total system latency increases. They can be rooted in HW instabilities however.
Choosing the right HW is more important, however. In fact, it's the best “tweak” one can do.
